Shirley was the author of the definitive book,
The New Pug, which
many consider to be the "bible" for our Pug breed. For most of us it
is the first book we are introduced to as new lovers of the Pug. |
|
Shirley was a breeder, judge, mentor, advisor, and fount of
knowledge to many. She was a long time Member of the Pug Dog Club of
America and friend of the American Kennel Club.

loved most in the world ... kissing a Pug!
The Pug world has lost a legend, but she has left us a rich legacy.
Her precious Club, the Club that she devoted most of her life to and
the Club that we are so proud to be a part of, continues to thrive
with the wealth of knowledge she has bestowed upon us. Her book,
with its wealth of information, remains an important reference for
Pug fanciers all over the world.
